Booking Your Slot
Regular weekly and fortnightly cleaning slots are available to book online through the MM Cleaning NI booking page. The process takes around five minutes. You select your area, choose your preferred day and time, and fill in your details. The slot is provisionally held once you submit.
For one-off and deep cleans, the process starts via WhatsApp rather than the booking page. Message us with your address, what you need, and your preferred date. We will confirm availability and pricing promptly.
The Deposit
Once you submit your booking, we send a £10 deposit payment link within 24 hours. Paying the deposit confirms and secures your slot. If it is not paid within 24 hours, the slot is released back into availability.
The deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable. It is not a charge on top of your cleaning cost. It is a confirmation mechanism that protects both sides: it tells us the booking is genuine and it gives you a confirmed slot.
Before the First Visit
Once your deposit is paid, we confirm your booking and assign your dedicated cleaner. You will hear from us before the first visit with confirmation of the time and any practical information you need.
You do not need to be home. Many MM Cleaning NI customers leave a key. Being there for the first clean is useful because it gives you a chance to show your cleaner around the property and tell them exactly how you like things done. After the first visit, most customers are comfortable leaving the cleaner to get on with it.
Before the first visit, have a mop, bucket, and your preferred floor cleaner ready. Everything else comes with the cleaner.
The First Clean Itself
The first clean takes a little longer than subsequent visits. Your cleaner is getting to know the property: its layout, the surfaces and materials in each room, and where everything is kept. That knowledge builds up over the first few visits and makes each one more efficient.
Your cleaner will work through the property based on your priorities. If you have told us in advance that the kitchen matters most, that is where the most time goes. If you want the bathroom done to a particular standard, say so before the visit and it will be done.
The hourly rate covers everything you ask for within the time booked. There are no extra charges for added tasks. Bed changes, blinds, extra time in one room: you ask and we do it.
Feedback and Follow-On Visits
If anything from the first clean is not right, tell us straight away. We would rather know immediately than have a small issue become a pattern. The same cleaner comes back on the next visit, so any feedback reaches the person who can act on it directly.
After a few visits, your cleaner will know the property well enough that the clean runs on its own without much input from you. That is the point of the same-cleaner model. It takes a few visits to get there, but once it is established, the service becomes genuinely hands-off.
There are no contracts. You can change the frequency, pause visits, or cancel at any point with no penalty.
