Who we are

What we collect

  • Your name, address, postcode, phone number and email
  • Booking details: service, day and time, frequency, size of your home
  • Details you give about your home: photos, pets, parking, access arrangements, cleaning preferences and notes
  • Payment details for deposits. Card payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your full card details
  • Messages you send us by text, email or phone

Why we use it

  • To arrange, carry out and manage your cleaning service (performance of our contract with you)
  • To send appointment messages, confirmations and reminders by text and email (performance of contract)
  • To take deposits and keep financial records (contract and legal obligation)
  • To check a booking is suitable, for example the time needed for your home (legitimate interests)
  • To deal with questions, complaints or service issues (legitimate interests)

We do not use your details for marketing unless you have agreed to it, and you can opt out at any time.

Automated tools and AI
We use automated tools, including AI, to help process bookings and send appointment messages, such as passing booking details to your cleaner and sending confirmation texts. A member of our team reviews every new booking before it is confirmed. We do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing, and we do not use AI to analyse photos of your home.

Who we share it with

  • Your assigned cleaner. Our cleaners are self-employed. They receive only what they need to carry out your clean: your name, address, phone number and home details. Your full address is shared only once your booking is confirmed.
  • Our service providers, who handle data on our behalf: Webador (website and forms), Google (email and calendars), TextMagic (text messages), Stripe (payments) and Anthropic (AI tools used to process bookings).
  • Authorities, where the law requires it.

We never sell your information.

International transfers
Some of our service providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as UK adequacy regulations or approved contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

  • Customer and booking details: for as long as you use our services, then [2] years
  • Photos of your home: deleted within [3 months] of your last clean
  • Payment and financial records: 6 years, as required for tax purposes

Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, object to or restrict how we use it, or ask for a copy to be sent to you or someone else. Email info@mmcleaningni.com and we will respond within one month.
